Hilversum, 23 juni 2009 – Met de introductie van een nieuw I755 DECT toestel, breidt NEC Philips Unified Solutions haar Business Mobility portfolio uit met een robuust high-end draadloos toestel dat ideaal geschikt is voor gebruik in branches en omstandigheden die extreem hoge eisen stellen aan de degelijkheid en bestendigheid van dergelijke toestellen. Hierbij valt te denken aan sectoren als gezondheidszorg, industrie, handel en logistiek.
Bij het ontwikkelen van dit nieuwe toestel is NEC erin geslaagd om extreme robuustheid en weerstand tegen schokken, stof en water (IP54 classificatie) te combineren met een uiterst aantrekkelijk ontwerp, met onder andere een kleurenscherm en een intuïtief gebruikersinterface.
Tekstberichten en alarm informatie van bijvoorbeeld alarmsystemen en zuster-oproepinstallaties geven gebruikers waardevolle extra informatie en bieden toegang tot centrale en persoonlijke telefoongidsen en agenda informatie.
Een specifieke SOS-alarm toets en een zgn. ‘man-down’ functie ondersteunen de gebruiker met extra voorzieningen voor de persoonlijke veiligheid, terwijl de optionele Bluetooth hoofdtelefoon extra bewegingsvrijheid en flexibiliteit biedt.
Naast flexibiliteit en comfort, biedt de I755 gebruikers rijke functionaliteit met in begrip van controle over de eigen bereikbaarheid en volledige integratie met de bedrijfstelefooncentrale.
Het I755 toestel voldoet aan alle DECT normen voor hoge spraakkwaliteit en veiligheid. De dubbele antennes opgenomen in de I755 zorgen bovendien voor stabiele en beveiligde communicatie in veeleisende RF omgevingen.
